This was my first draft with the call out. I don't think the colour of the text works with the image. I used this colour because black blended into the image too much and it wasn't really visible. I also tried white but it stood out too much and looked odd because theres an earthy colour scheme to my image.
I also cropped the image because there was a lot of empty space on the right hand side that was too small to put call outs on, and it wouldn't have looked professional with text on both sides.
