The first change I made from the draft was increasing the size of the title. This made the cover look much neater and by moving the title 'spring update' to the underneath it also looks much more organised. I straightened the images on the left hand side and added borders, I prefer this to the draft because its bolder and stops the images from blending to the background. The text was my next change, I changed the size of the text box so the writing didn't overlap the image, this made it much easier to read. In my previous research I looked at what year seven students wanted in a school magazine, I included bright colours and highlighted changes around school, giving them an interest in the topics. I also included sixth form news again to widen my target demographic. The final change I made was the schools logo which I added underneath the three image, I added this as its a key part of the schools identity.

Well done Zsa! Now deconstruct your magazine cover using media terminology. reflect on what you would have done differently if you had more time.
